New hair and textures at Exile!

So I have tweaked the textures and added a few new ones to chose from

All the textures are done with slight darkening at the roots to add a bit of realism and I have created a new pack called extreme that has lighter colors with black roots, it works a bit like a second naturals pack with more distinct roots. Some of the older hairs have been revamped as well so if you have some old favorites they might have gotten a makeover, if not they have been retired and I hope to remake a few of them from scratch, some sculpted and I want to try a few more mesh things now that the textures are sorted out.

My friend and co-owner of covet Ju Weissnicht has rebranded her store treads to Ju and released a new rigged mesh boot for ladies! The Charlie boots are amazing and come in a large selection of colors and sizes. Visit Ju on covet to try out the demos!

Also there is a sale on at exile as I’m planning to retire a lot of older styles and update a few of them as well. Color packs are 50L and the all or nothing pack is 250L. I will leave the sale hairs up for a another week or two probably so everyone has a chance to get the ones they want since most of them either aren’t coming back or are coming back considerably different . Evolution

I’m releasing a new collection of hair today at Exile with new textures – the Evolution hair range. I started from scratch a bit for these hairs due to the texture options I wanted to include, so I probably won’t convert many of the older styles. I’m more likely to try remaking them better then before with the new options. The vendors are different and the color names are all different from the older hair colors as well, but I hope it won’t be too confusing. Each demo comes with the new color chart and there is a simple sculpted ponytail in the store for free to see both the texture types.

The ideas I wanted to incorporate in these styles were the most requested items I’ve received, and I hope those of you who have been after any or all of these options will not be disappointed. You will find that some of them have streaking options and that there are rooted textures and non-root textures included with each style. There’s a naturals pack for these styles for those of you hair color chameleons . Finally, I tried to make the styles more suitable for additional flexi strands. That doesn’t mean all the styles will roll with movement all the time, but I am trying some new things for those of you who love movement.

I am always learning and trying to improve, and I thank you all for the feedback because it helps me to know what I need to add or work on. I’m sorry it took me a while to get these options together. I promise I am listening when people ask for things. It just takes a bit to get things together sometimes. I hope they were worth the wait.

Exile and Shine at Garden City Relief

I think it would be hard for anyone not to know about the devastating earthquake that struck Christchurch New Zealand this week. I don’t think pictures or video can completely convey the devastation but just for an idea I would recommend a look at these sliding before and after photos found on the tv3 website. Watching the coverage here from the north island has been heartbreaking and inspiring in equal measure. The damage and loss is so great but seeing how people all over this country and even all over the world have come together to help and support each other is something that keeps me thinking positive.

I was touched again when I saw the same effect happening in Second Life in the form of the Garden City Relief event put together by Shelly Toonie. Many amazing designers from SL are putting forth a special collection of items all the proceeds of which will be donated to the New Zealand Red Cross. Brandy and I knew right away we had to be involved.

From Exile you will find a naturals pack of a new hair called Hope, the pack is 200L.

And from Shine you will find a pack of 5 exquisite eyes including prim counterparts for 200L

Exile Gacha Cake! Hair for Dessert!

I loved the Gacha fair so much this summer that I wanted to do something for the stores anniversary using gacha machines, so I just put out a birthday cake loaded with 8 special edition dessert colored hairs! Come by the store and try your luck for 30L a turn. The hair in the Gacha is transfer so you can trade them with friends!

Exile’s Birthday kick off!
