Kavar’s been at it again, and there are 2 new hair releases for the women this week at Exile. He’s also added a recolored version of one of these new styles as a group freebie.

Sylvie has short, flippy layers. I love the way the layers curve around the back of the neck and in front of your face. It has a lot of movement and volume to it for a short style.

Angelica is the showstopper this week. You want long flowing hair that doesn’t cut through you? Then take a look at this style. It comes with the expected skull attachment and then the pieces that fall over your shoulders are a separate spine attachment. Definitely try a demo to see how nicely the pieces work together.

Kavar has just released 3 new women’s hairstyles at Exile, and just as you’d expect, they’re all adorable! Cherry has asymmetrical low pigtails that hang perfectly over your shoulders and chest. The looped pieces of hair at the top of each pigtail give an unique touch to one of my favorite casual hairstyles.

Sally is a sleek bob you’ll be able to wear with anything, which is great because you’ll want to wear it with everything.

Traci is a mid-length wavy style parted slightly off-center. My favorite part of this style has to be the V-shaped front fringe.

If you haven’t been living under a rock lately, then I’m sure you’ve already heard all about the Black Swan event Swansong. You’ve probably even already seen some photos of Kavar’s releases there. The designers were given the theme of the four elements to work with, and Kavar used all of them in his pieces for the event. One of the things I love about his designs is how he makes everything look so sexy. Seriously, who would have thought that bark and roots could look so good on a man? Then you look at the Untamed Earth set from Exile, and you suddenly want to be a tree hugger if it means getting close to the guy wearing that.

The other Exile release for the guys at Swansong is this hair named Savage. This is one you really need to see in person, so make sure to try the free demos. It’s wild just like the name suggests, and it has a real sense of vitality and movement.

And of course Kavar didn’t forget the women. Even if he tried, I certainly wouldn’t let him! Moving on from earth and fire, he focused on water and air for us. He captured the image of splashing water and then somehow transformed it into an ethereal dress that looks as amazing on a runway model as it does on a water nymph. It’s sheer in all the right places while still allowing for a bit of mystery and modesty.

The Breeze hair is big natural hair tossed by the wind and floating around your face. I’ve found that it really adds life to any photo as I’ve been playing around with it.

All of these items are at the Black Swan sim until Aug. 17, so you still have time to go shopping.
