Maybe Kavar’s creation Lapis Sun will be one of your inspirations for the contest. It’s a striking gold creation accented by the brilliant blue lapis lazuli, and I think it’s a beautiful blend of strength and femininity. Kavar must have been listening to Billy Idol lately because he’s definitely giving us more more more with the newest releases from Exile. In fact, first up is a hair for the guys called Rebel. Rebel is a messy wavy hairstyle that’s shorter around the ears and neck with slightly longer layers on the top. I just can’t resist the way the waves of hair cross at the front and those curls falling down on the forehead, so I’m claiming this for the women too.
Whitney is one of the two new hairs for women this week. It’s a layered style with a lot of volume to frame the face. The long layers reach the middle of the back in a cascade of waves, and the front fringe falls over the right eyebrow for a casually sexy look.
Kara is the graduated bob of my dreams with hair sleekly hugging the nape of the neck in the back and reaching mid-chest in the front. I love the line of this style with the curved stacked layers in the back and the fullness at the crown. It’s a beautiful choice for straight hair that’s definitely not flat.
There’s a new hair release for women at Exile. Cecilia is a wild medium-length style with a bandanna wrap and lots of wave. Click the bandanna to cycle through several colors, and there’s a silver option that will tint nicely to any color you might want.
