Inspired by Hethr

Winter Jefferson and Elusyve Jewell challenged the SL community to give some tribute to those who inspire, entertain, and/or educate us. I decided that I needed to write a little something about the first SL fashion blogger I ever added to my feed reader – Hethr Engle of Closet Crisis. She was also the star of my first SL fangirl moment when I ran into her and Violet Voltaire at a Deviant Kitties sale back in July or August of 2007. I became a fan of Closet Crisis because the outfits were always clearly displayed with accompanying slurls and because Hethr is a wizard at pulling together pieces from a range of different outfits and making them work.
In the spirit of paying homage to Hethr, I put together an outfit that picks up some of the things I associate with her and then tried to put my photos together in that iconic Closet Crisis style. When I think Hethr, I think blonde hair, hazel eyes, pink, bows, flats, and Violet Voltaire jewelry, so I worked with those elements to come up with the outfit below. Hethr, thank you for continuing to make fashion fun and accessible for all of us who love your way with outfits.
