Exile is celebrating its first birthday starting today! In the store over the next 2 weeks will be some great specials and new releases. The big news today though is the beginning of a hair hunt along with a great group gift.

Kavar created some exclusive textures to celebrate the shop’s birthday and decided to release those through a hunt. He has 5 different styles (2 for men and 3 for women) in these textures around Ivy Falls, and these will not be available for purchase in the store.

What will you be looking for? A black Exile gift box, and each one holds one hair in one color. Look at the photo below for a peek at the textures and the boxes. These boxes are hidden around the riverway, the stores, and the hidden areas in the water and along the river walk. The castles are residences so please still clear of those.

And one of the new textures, a lovely blonde called champagne, will actually be given out to members of the Exile group (in Love Song for the women and Avant-Garde for the men), so join that for some hair without the hunting. Being a member does have its benefits!

In this release, Kavar has focused on the guys with two new hairstyles.

Avant Garde is a short, slightly wavy style. It can work with lots of different types of looks from casual to business, and is a great choice for days when you want to look pulled together but still be relaxed.

Railway is Kavar’s take on a modern train conductor’s cap. The cap is menu scripted with several texture changes, and you can check out the texture choices on the demos by just touching the hat. All packs also include a loose version of the hat to wear with whatever hair you like in addition to the standard one with the short hair shown below.

As of today, all 5 of the Hair Fair 2008 styles (2 for men and 3 for women) from Exile are at the Exile main shop in Ivy Falls. Love Song is a soft, pulled-up hair with loose tendrils spilling down. You’ll look great from any angle in this style.

Tara is a cute and fun hair with layered fringe. The hair on the sides is pulled back into a mini ponytail with lots of volume.

Taylor is a loose bun with some layered fringe in the front, another soft and classic hairstyle.
