Hair Fair Demos

To help you focus on shopping when you get to the hair fair when it starts tomorrow, all the designers have been allowed to put up demos on OnRez today of the hair fair hair they’re releasing tomorrow. Kavar is releasing 5 new hairstyles, 2 for the guys and 3 for the women, and those demos are all up to purchase now.

First up is the male style Relentless, a versatile shorter style with hair swept to the left. Half of the money from the sales of this hair at hair fair will go to Locks of Love, so guys get to shopping! OnRez demo

Echo is the other male hair and is a slightly longer and shaggier style with hair falling down across the left eye. OnRez demo

Kaori is a fun shorter style for the women with hair going in all directions while still nicely framing your face. OnRez demo

Voodoo is a punkier long style for women. Most of the hair is swept to the right in a great wave, but there’s also a braid hanging down on the left. This hair can be touched to give you options to add some really colorful highlights throughout the hair, including the braid. OnRez demo

Wild Orchid is just as wild as the name implies. It’s a gorgeous updo with lots of escaping tendrils surrounding your face, and it includes a beautiful sculpted orchid that can be touched to select a variety of textures to match any outfit. OnRez demo

After trying on the demos, be sure to visit Exile tomorrow on the purple sim of the hair fair to buy your favorites and to see all the other designers. And if you’re having a hard time waiting for hair fair, don’t forget you can always visit the Exile main store to check out the free demos of all the other hair. We hope to see you soon!

Exile has you covered!

Kavar has a big release at Exile this week! There’s hair for men and women along with a sexy versatile outfit for the women.

Mythos is a unisex razor-cut hairstyle that will give you a bit of a rocker look no matter what you’re wearing.

Shay is a short layered bob that can easily look cute or sexy depending on what you wear with it. No matter what, you’re going to look great with this face-flattering style.

Naomi is a soft knotted ponytail that can easily go with your favorite casual looks or lend a subtle elegance to dress up for something special.

The name of the final hair release this week probably gives it away. Ellie May is indeed a couple of low pigtails pulled behind the ears and then swept in front of the shoulders. The casual messy feel of this hair will definitely turn some heads and make you look like the sexiest girl next door ever.

Along with all that great hair comes a sexy corseted catsuit appropriately named Prowler. This comes in three bold colors – purple, red, and black – and is sure to become a basic layering staple in your wardrobe!

Visit Exile to try all the free demos. Don’t forget to also check out the sale wall where you will find some hairstyles marked down for a limited time!

Time Stands Still in Exile

Snapshot_034 (by Brandy Rasmuson)

It’s no secret that I love ~silentsparrow~, but some of you may not be aware that I also love gears and sprockets and all sorts of mechanical things. With those loves combined, the Toxine Suite definitely was going home with me from the start, but I had a hard time choosing a color. I finally went with the cocoa because I like the way the aqua accents look with shades of brown.

The rest of the outfit came together when I started combining gears with clocks, which seems like a natural partnership to me. I went with two watches. Gritty Kitty’s sprocket watch is a long-time favorite, and the sweet rabbit bangle watch is a relatively new purchase from Kurotsubaki. The clock theme continued with the appropriately named Wasted Time hat from Catnip. I chose the Ayumi hair from Exile in the Harlow shade because the ragged cut worked so well with the hat and seemed to go with the ragamuffin feel of the rest of the outfit. Harlow is one of the lighter shades in the blondes and kind of brightens up the look.

Once I was all dressed, I knew exactly where I wanted to go for photos. Princeton WWS houses an art installation called Ephemeral by Poid Mahovlich. The entire sim is a bit surreal and is an amazing space to wander through. Different vignettes are set up throughout the sim, and I knew I wanted to spend some time with the grandfather clocks in the middle of the woods.

Full details on the outfit along with slurls to all the stores included after the cut below this photo.
